Focusrite have released two new additions to their Vocaster range of podcast-focused audio interfaces, the Vocaster Broadcast Kit, and the standalone Vocaster DM14v microphone.
The Vocaster Broadcaster Kit is an accessory bundle which Focusrite say offers the ideal solution for podcasters looking for a professional recording and monitoring upgrade. The kit includes the Vocaster DM14v microphone which was previously only available as part of the Vocaster Two Studio interface bundle, a pair of Vocaster HP60v headphones, and a high-quality 3-metre XLR cable.
In addition to the new bundle, Focusrite have also announced that their Vocaster DM14v dynamic microphone is now also available to purchase separately. The company say that the cardioid microphone is perfect for podcasters looking to upgrade their setup, and features a built-in windshield and shockmount which allow it to combat plosives and offer some resistance against knocks and bumps without requiring any additional accessories.
