The Hitmaker Expansion bundle provides users of Focusrite’s Scarlett, Clarett+ and Red audio interfaces with a free collection of high-quality virtual instruments and processing plug-ins, offering tools for every stage of a production from writing through to mastering. Thanks to a recent update, the bundle now also includes Native Instruments’ MASSIVE softsynth, and Focusrite’s FAST Balancer automatic EQ plug-in.
The addition of MASSIVE brings a huge range of synth sounds to the collection. Renowned for its in-depth routing, modulation and macro control capabilities, the instrument provides keen sound designers with everything they need to craft huge-sounding bass and lead patches. More than 1300 production-ready presets are also included, offering a wide variety of sounds that can be dropped straight into a track, or used as a starting point for new ideas.
Focusrite’s FAST Balancer then promises to accelerate the mixing process, analysing incoming audio and providing three selectable EQ options that aim to enhance the source and help it to cut through the mix. Users are able to choose between Warm, Neutral and Bright options, whilst an Intensity slider defines the overall amount of processing applied to the source.

The updated Hitmaker Expansion bundle is available now for those who have registered Scarlett, Clarett+ and Red audio interfaces since 9 May 2023, and can be redeemed via the Focusrite user portal.
